Understandest Thou What Thou Readest?

In our last episode, you heard the first sermon in my bibliology series on Bible translations titled, "The Seven Wonders of the Word." My intention behind this series was to introduce the New King James Version into use at River City Baptist Church. This last sermon in the bibliology series is titled, "Understandest Thou What Thou Readest?" Below, you will find the handout I gave the congregation for this sermon. The notes are incomplete because my intention is for you to listen to this sermon and take notes as if you were sitting in the auditorium. I urge you to print out the show notes and take handwritten notes while listening. My hope is that you will find this message helpful in selecting a Bible version that allows you to understand what you are reading.
